YEREVAN. – NATO fully supports the OSCE Minsk Group's efforts aimed at deescalation of the Karabakh conflict, NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for South Caucasus James Appathurai said in Yerevan.
The Alliance is not engaged in the process of Karabakh settlement, he recalled.
“At the same time, I can say that all NATO members are following events with concern and the cases of violence were really disturbing. We fully support the OSCE Minsk Group, including their efforts for de-escalation of the conflict,” Appathurai said, adding that all member countries of NATO clearly contribute to the peaceful settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh.
