STEPANAKERT. – The adversary continues to intensively violate the ceasefire on the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces. 

According to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army data, the adversary breached the truce around 300 times on Friday and the early morning hours on Saturday. During this time, more than 3,000 shots were fired in the direction of Armenian military positions, and by way of different-caliber rifle weaponry, the NKR MOD press service informed.

The Defense Army vanguard units, however, gave an adequate response to the provocative actions by Azerbaijan, and took the necessary steps to reliably defend the Armenian military positions along the entire length of the Line of Contact.
