YEREVAN. – President Serzh Sargsyan has signed a decree to award posthumously junior sergeant Nahapet Asatryan (born in 1982).

As reported earlier, the Azerbaijani side carried out a sabotage and intelligence-gathering infiltration attempt, on Wednesday at around 3am, toward the Karvachar defense positions on the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces.

Serviceman Nahapet Asatryan (born in 1982) was killed, whereas serviceman Hovhannes Gasparyan (born in 1973) was wounded during the skirmish.
