YEREVAN. – Poland’s new Ambassador to Armenia, Jerzy Nowakowski, on Tuesday presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan, informed the Press Office of the President.

The President congratulated Ambassador Nowakowski on his appointment, and wished him success in his diplomatic mission in Armenia.

The interlocutors shared the view that the mutual visits, political consultations, and cultural exchanges between Armenia and Poland enable to increase bilateral trade and expand collaboration.

Sargsyan also expressed the hope that the newly appointed ambassador will give a new impetus to Armenian-Polish relations.

The President of Armenia and the ambassador of Poland also discussed Armenia-European Union (EU) relations, and the avenues for the development of respective cooperation. In this context, Ambassador Nowakowski assured that Poland stands ready to contribute to the enhancement of these relations.
