A section of the densely populated Azizieh district of Aleppo, Syria, was shelled on Friday evening, and an Armenian was killed as a result.

Due to the explosion of the rockets launched by armed groups, Aleppo-Armenian Kevork Halladjian, 50, and his two daughters were injured, reported the Kantsasar Armenian newspaper of Syria.

The injured were immediately taken to hospital where, however, Halladjian died; his daughters are in stable condition.
