YEREVAN. – Arsen Arshakyan has been relieved of his duties as Chief of the Yerevan Traffic Police.
The Armenia Police news department confirmed this information to Armenian News-NEWS.am.
In response to our query as to the reason for Arshakyan’s dismissal, the Police news department recalled the ongoing personnel reforms in the country’s police system.
“The personnel changes should be viewed solely within the framework of reforms,” the Police news service stated.
Arsen Arshakyan is now registered in the reserve personnel of the Armenia Police.
