Turkish Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tanju Bilgic was unable to give a clear answer to a reporter’s question as to whether Turkey will be sending a delegation to Armenia on April 24, to attend the Armenian Genocide centenary commemoration.  

Bilgic, at a regular press conference, also responded to the query with respect to a visit to Armenia on April 24, reported the Netgazete website of Turkey.

A reporter recalled that Armenia had extended an invitation to the Turkish authorities to participate in the April 24 commemoration, and asked whether Turkey will attend this event.

The Turkish MFA spokesperson, however, responded by solely stating that as far as he knows, Turkey will not be participating.
