YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 477.46/$1 in Armenia on Friday, which is up by AMD 0.95 from Thursday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 546.88 (up by AMD 4.23), that of one British pound was AMD 731.42 (up by AMD 5.31), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.22 (up by AMD 0.15), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 260.96, AMD 19,330.36, and AMD 18,958.11, respectively.

Friday’s trading totaled USD 1,300,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 479.49/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 479.9/$1.
