On the occasion of the Armenian Genocide centenary to be marked on April 24, the Ministry of Culture of Armenia will grant its pavilion at the Venice Biennale, which will be held between February 7 and 17, to several Diaspora-Armenian artists, Armeniangenocide100.org reported.

The works by eighteen artists in total will be featured at the event.

Curated by Adelina Cüberyan von Fürstenberg, the pavilion will explore what she is calling the notion of “armenity,” which in her words, encapsulates the concepts of “displacement and territory, justice and reconciliation, ethos and resilience.”
