YEREVAN. – The Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) awaits the goods that are exported from Armenia.
Ruling Republican Party of Armenia National Assembly (RPA NA) Faction member Vardan Ayvazyan, who is also Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs, stated the aforesaid at a press conference on Monday.
Presenting the results of his recent working visit to Moscow, he considered unfounded the rumors that the Armenian businessmen could disturb the Russian market to some extent.
To the query on, in this case, why is it that restrictions are applied for the products which Russia imports from Belarus, Ayvazyan responded by stating that no one has any objections to the goods that are actually produced in Belarus.
“It’s the same in Armenia’s case, too. Let’s say someone [from Armenia] brings bananas to Russia. Will they not ask him: ‘But bananas don’t grow in Armenia?’ And rest assured, no more questions will be raised if everything is fair,” the RPA MP added.
