The swearing-in ceremony for the judges of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) Court was held Tuesday at this international tribunal, which is located in the Belarusian capital city of Minsk.

Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed from the court that, from Armenia, Judges Armen Tumanyan and Erna Hayriyan took part in this ceremony.

The ambassadors of the EEU member states (Armenia, Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan), including Armenian Ambassador Armen Khachatryan, also were on hand at the event.

The EEU Court has begun its activities as January 1. Its objective is to ensure, for the EEU members and agencies, the fulfillment of the provisions of international agreements and of the decisions by the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union.
