The passenger, who had caused an aircraft—which was en route from Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan to Russian capital city Moscow—to make an emergency landing last night, was sober.

TASS news agency of Russia reported the above-said citing a representative of the Russian Federation (RF) law enforcement.

“The man was subjected to administrative account pursuant to the RF Code on Administrative Offenses (…). The penalty, which this article specifies, is 100 rubles [approx. $1.51],” the sources inform.

As reported earlier, the said passenger was a Dutch citizen, and the aircraft had made an emergency landing in Volgograd, Russia, due to his disorderly conduct on board the plane.
