YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia received information on Friday at 2:35pm.
Accordingly, a child had fallen into Aghstev River in Ijevan city of the Tavush Region, and rescuers were needed.
A firefighting team and a rescue squad were dispatched to the scene.
But it was found out that city resident E. Kh., 13, had entered the river on his own volition.
The firefighters and the rescuers safely brought E. Kh. out of the river and took him to the fire station.
The child was not injured.
