YEREVAN. – It needs to be understood how Armenia’s current taxes for household appliances may change after the country’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union—which also includes Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.

“Consumers Association of Armenia” NGO Director Armen Poghosyan told the abovementioned to reporters on Saturday.

“No one is saying that Russia and Belarus don’t produce quality products. But everyone knows from which countries and, most importantly, which brands of appliances we [, Armenia’s consumers,] purchase,” Poghosyan added.
