A variety of news is disseminated and statements are made in Azerbaijan with respect to organizing provocations against the Armenian delegation’s expected participation in the 2015 European Games, which the Azerbaijani capital city of Baku will host.

The head of Azerbaijan’s Karabakh Liberation Organization, Akif Nagi, has announced that he does not pay attention to Azerbaijan Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov’s statement that the safety of the Armenian athletes will be ensured at the highest level.     

“If the Armenian athletes arrive in Baku, the Karabakh Liberation Organization will do everything to disrupt their matches. (…) We will express our protest in connection with the arrival of the Armenian athletes. I don’t know what security guarantees Azad Rahimov is talking about,” Nagi specifically stated.
