EREVAN. – No formal request has been received by non-pro-government Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan, who is also head of the PAP National Assembly (NA) Faction, with respect to giving up his parliamentary seat. The head of the NA Information and Public Relations Department, Arsen Babayan, informed about the aforesaid in response to the respective query by Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“At this point there is no such petition in the NA,” Babayan said.

To note, information was disseminated in the media that Tsarukyan had submitted a petition to renounce his parliamentary mandate.
