YEREVAN. – “I came to the news conference to solely read my message to the body public.”
Armenia’s opposition Heritage Party Chairman and former FM Raffi Hovannisian noted the aforesaid at Wednesday’s press conference. He promised, however, to respond to the reporters’ queries on Friday at Liberty Square, in downtown capital city Yerevan.
In Hovannisian’s words, Wednesday, February 18, 2015 marks the anniversary of the previous presidential election in the country, and during this period, the gap between the authorities and the people has grown deeper.
“Our task is to save our children’s future. [Solely] the people shall salvage the situation,” Heritage’s leader specifically said.
He also assured that the fight continues.
“Today, we are in an unprecedented political situation that requires a solution. The de facto president knows where to find the de jure president, and the rest will be clarified at the [public] assembly Heritage has organized,” Raffi Hovannisian concluded.
