YEREVAN. – The visit to Armenian Genocide Memorial was “a very moving stop today”, U.S. Assistant of Secretary of State Victoria Nuland said in Yerevan.

The diplomat said she had not have a chance to go there personally before, and this was an important part of her visit.

Victoria Nuland met with President Serzh Sargsyan and Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian to discuss strengthening of Armenia-US relations, deepening of economic ties, promotion of people-to-people contacts, Armenia-Turkey relations as well as advancing a just and lasting settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
