STEPANAKERT. – The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Minister and Defense Army Commander, Lieutenant General Movses Hakobyan, received OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs James Warlick (USA), Igor Popov (Russia), and Pierre Andrieu (France).

Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, also attended the talk, the NKR MOD press service informed.

The co-chairs presented the results of their visit to the region, and the interlocutors discussed the prospects for the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.  

Subsequently, and at the co-chairs’ request, Hakobyan reflected on the current situation and the ceasefire violations on the Karabakh-Azerbaijan Line of Contact.

At the end of the meeting, the NKR defense minister responded to the co-chairs’ queries.
