YEREVAN. – At present, it is a “force majeure” situation in the non-pro-government Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP).
PAP National Assembly (NA) Faction member Vahan Babayan told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am, as he responded to the query as to the faction’s next course of action following its decision to boycott the NA sessions.
As our faction secretary noted, our common position on the current situation in the country needs discussions, analyses. (…) we cannot tell you anything definite at this point,” Babayan added.
Nonetheless, the PAP MP dismissed the rumors about the dissolution of the party.
“And the [PAP NA] Faction continues its normal activity; soon everything will fall into place,” Vahan Babayan concluded.
As reported earlier, PAP NA Faction Secretary Naira Zohrabyan announced, on Monday in the parliament, that their faction will be boycotting the four-day session of the National Assembly.
