Within the framework of the Armenian Genocide centenary commemorations and on the occasion of the International Women’s Day, the Yerevan Park in Paris was complemented with one-hundred rose trees on Sunday, and in memory of the women who fell victims to this genocide. 

The official unveiling of the respective memorial was led by the Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, Armenia’s Ambassador to France, Vicken Tchitechian.

In his remarks at the event, Ambassador Tchitechian thanked the French authorities for their caring disposition and constant attention toward the memory of the forebears of the French-Armenian citizenry.
