YEREVAN. – The European People's Party (EPP) is the most influential political force in Europe, and the Armenian Genocide resolution adopted by EPP creates favorable situation for Armenia, secretary of Heritage faction Tevan Poghosyan said.

Ahead of the Armenian Genocide Centennial, we can work actively in the European countries for recognition of the Armenian Genocide, Poghosyan said.

As regards counteractions from Ankara, Poghosyan noted that Turkey takes some moves only when we achieve success. On the whole, Turkey's policy on relations with Armenia is limited to “the April diplomacy”.

“We must get used to this policy and raise the issue of Armenian Genocide not on April 24 only. We must do this regularly so that Turkey was forced to face Armenian diplomacy every day,” Poghosyan told reporters on Monday.

The political forum of the European People’s Party (EPP) on Tuesday adopted a resolution on the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
