Border Department of the Russian Federal Security Service confirmed reported on the death of serviceman Artur Afyan.
An Armenian conscript serving in Russian border detachment went missing on February 21.
The body was found on Sunday afternoon, and later the dead was identified as a serviceman of border department A.S. Afyan, the Russian border department said in a statement.
Artur Afyan, 26, called his wife and said he would not come back. According to some reports, the family had debts.
