YEREVAN. – The anti-Armenian policy of Turkey has not been reviewed, Armenian former MP, theologian Vardan Khachatryan stated at a press conference on Tuesday.

He added, however, that the previous attitudes in Turkey towards the Armenian Genocide are drastically being reassessed in the country.

“The existing institutions, which were serving the Armenian Genocide denial, do not function [anymore],” Khachatryan noted. “The Turkish authorities have reviewed the tough stance of Armenian Genocide denial.”

As per the ex-MP, the Turkish side considers that such a policy of review, rather than the strong denial of the realities that are spread all over the world, makes Turkey more acceptable.
