No one in Armenia’s Dilijan city bothers the Turkish children studying at the city’s international college, Dilijan Mayor Armen Santrosyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In his words, the children of this school walk around the city every day after classes, the locals already know them, and all 96 foreign students of this college already know at least a few sentences in Armenian.

“They, moreover, the children of all nationalities, love to talk to the locals. There are also four students from Turkey,” Santrosyan noted.

To the query on whether the locals bother the Turkish students, the mayor of Dilijan responded with a no.

“This is a resort town, and we are used to [having] visitors of different nationalities,” he added.
