OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair James Warlick welcomes Armenia's decision to compete in the European Games.

“Good news that Armenian athletes will compete in the European games in Baku. Hope Azerbaijan will welcome the decision. #Nkpeace,” he tweeted.

As reported earlier, Armenia will participate in the first European Games, which the Azerbaijani capital city of Baku will host this summer. Such a decision was adopted at the meeting of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia.

The Armenian athletes themselves will decide, on an individual basis, whether or not to compete in this tournament, and they will not be forced to participate.
