YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 481.75/$1 in Armenia on Thursday; this is up by AMD 0.22 from Wednesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 510.41 (down by AMD 0.25), that of one British pound was AMD 721.90 (down by AMD 3.38), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.93 (up by AMD 0.27), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 242.24, AMD 17,811.91, and AMD 17,393.72, respectively.

Thursday’s trading totaled USD 300,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 482/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 482/$1.
