An evening of Armenian Genocide commemoration will be held in the Polish capital city of Warsaw, Dzieje.pl reported.

Opening remarks will be delivered by Ambassador of Armenia to Poland Edgar Ghazaryan, and chairman of the Foundation of Culture and Heritage of Polish Armenians, Jan Abgarowicz.

Next, Foundation representative Armen Artwich will deliver a presentation, which will be followed by a lecture by Polish Professor Andrzej Zięba, who will speak about Raphael Lemkin, the Polish lawyer of Jewish descent, who has coined the word “genocide” in 1944.  

And Bogdan Kasprowicz will recite poetry from his new collection, entitled Chaczkar (cross-stone).
