YEREVAN. – The opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) had no invitation to meet with President Serzh Sargsyan, and with respect to the proposed constitutional reforms.

ANC MP and former Military Prosecutor Gagik Jhangiryan told about the aforementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

He added that their position against these reforms is known, and therefore they had not been invited to meet.

As to the query on how he looks at the fact that the President had not extended them an invitation, Jhangiryan gave a short answer: “Philosophically.”

As reported earlier, President Serzh Sargsyan on Thursday met with several political forces, except for the ANC, to discuss the proposed constitutional amendments.
