YEREVAN. – Armenian National Assembly (NA) Vice President Eduard Sharmazanov, within the framework of his official visit to Latvia, also paid a visit to the St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church in capital city Riga, and met with representatives of the local Armenian community.

The role of the Armenia-Armenian Diaspora-Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) trinity was underscored at the talk, informed the NA press service. 

Sharmazanov expressed his gratitude to the local Armenian community representatives for their assistance in the opening of an exhibition in Riga, and devoted to the centennial of the Armenian Genocide.

“Our unity shall be the guarantee for the success of our people,” the Armenian parliament deputy speaker specifically noted.
