YEREVAN. – The work of Euronest parliamentary assembly will be successful only in an atmosphere of mutual trust, Armenian MP Artak Zakaryan said.

The participants of the Euronest parliamentary session met with civil society representatives in Yerevan on Monday within the framework of regular Euronest session.

Zakaryan, chairman of parliamentary committee on foreign affairs, said Euronest works to strengthen cooperation in the areas where it is real to do.

“If there is no mutual trust in the societies of the Eastern Partnership members, any joint work of parliamentarians is certainly unsuccessful. Therefore, we consider important an interaction with civil society. The Armenian authorities are ready to continue promoting  active and responsible civil society,” he said.
