YEREVAN. – Armenia and EU are at the final stage of deciding on the further format for relations based on the progress that had been reached previously, Armenia's Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said on Monday.

Armenia is ready to continue comprehensive cooperation with the European Union taking into account commitments within other integration unions, the Minister said during the meeting of Euronest parliamentary assembly's committee on political affairs, human rights and democracy.

He recalled that the joint statement adopted by Armenia and European Union in November 2013 in Vilnius, the parties expressed their desire to develop a new framework for cooperation. Armenia is targeted at democracy strengthening, at continuous improvement of the judicial system, fight against corruption, strengthening of civil society and further improvement in terms of trade and investment climate, as well as the mobility of citizens.
