YEREVAN. – Armenia remains an important partner of the European Union, Polish Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Karol Karski told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“Armenia is a very important partner from the perspective of the European Parliament, and we want our relations to be the best; this also applies to Poland,” Karski said. “We want to be a stabilizing factor in the South Caucasus region.”    

He added that the European parliamentarians follow the events unrolling in Armenia with great interest.  

“Apart from everything, Armenia is also a state with deep traditions. In a sense, we envy Armenia. It is the world’s first country to adopt Christianity,” Karol Karski stated. “It is also psychologically comfortable here [in Armenia] for us, guests who have arrived from Poland.”
