The date of Russian president's visit to Armenia is being discussed, spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

“The visit of President Putin to Yerevan is on the agenda. The trip is being prepared and discussed. As soon as the precise date is determined and confirmed, we will inform you immediately,” Peskov said, RIA Novosti reported.

Earlier Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Vladimir Putin will attend commemoration events dedicated to the centennial of the Armenian Genocide in Yerevan.

“Yes, he will fly to Yerevan,” Putin's spokesperson told AFP,
