YEREVAN. – Spokesperson for Armenian Defense Minister said he was not surprised by the Azerbaijani side's attempts to deny the act of sabotage.

This has been the favorite position of the Azerbaijani side for more than 20 years, Artrsun Hovhannisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

 Speaking about weapons left by Azerbaijani special forces on the battlefield, Artsrun Hovhannisyan noted that similar armament was left by Azerbaijani soldiers in the past.

“Before denying Azeris should better refresh their memory and recall the video showing that Azerbaijani Defense Minister admires the exhibits on display. Of course, they will deny that they have victims and we regret that they have no respect towards their own citizens. Of course, it is much easier to hide losses in the special forces, but you cannot always hide the truth. Our soldiers, as always, brilliantly performed the task, showed unparalleled courage, continuing the fight after being seriously wounded and drawing the enemy to flight,” Hovhannisyan said.
