YEREVAN. – The Armenian parliament condemned genocide of the Greeks and Assyrians perpetrated in the Ottoman Empire in 1915-23.
The draft resolution has been introduced by representatives of all six factions and independent MPs.
The draft bill was adopted with 117 votes “for” without abstentions and votes “against”.
The Armenian parliament has adopted only four resolutions since 1995.
