YEREVAN. – The European Union (EU) has passed to the phase of transformation of the European Neighbourhood Policy.

“European Integration” NGO Chairman, political scientist Karen Bekaryan, stated the aforesaid at a press conference on Tuesday.

In his words, the essence of this transformation is that the EU is trying to manifest a differentiated approach for each European Neighbourhood Policy country, in terms of expectations from the EU, and with maximum consideration of the wishes and challenges of these countries.

“That is, we see that the EU is transitioning from its common approach to the individual approach,” Bekaryan added.

In his words, however, the EU also awaits proposals from each participating country, for its part. That is to say, cooperation enters a new dimension and acquires a totally different quality.
