YEREVAN. – Unanimous adoption of the bill to criminalize the Armenian Genocide denial by Cyprus parliament is a result of centuries-long friendship between Armenia and Cyprus, Speaker of the Armenian parliament Galust Sahakyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Earlier on Thursday Cyprus House of Representatives unanimously passed the bill on criminalization of denial of the Armenian Genocide.

“Two fraternal national achieve positive results thanks to their joint efforts,” said the Armenian Speaker who is currently on a visit to Cyprus.
