The short film “Island of Dogs” by well-known director Serge Avedikian and the documentary “Germany and the Secret Genocide” by Michael Hagopian were screened at Maxim Gorki Theater, Berlin, on April 4 within the framework of the 40-day series of events entitled “Never again,” Armenian’s MFA press-service reports.

The event was attended by the Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the Honorary Chairman of “Golden Apricot” international film festival Levon Sargsyan, Director of “Golden Apricot” international film festival Harutyun Khachatryan, Charge d'Affaires of the Republic of Armenia to Germany Ashot Smbatyan, as well as by ambassadors, politicians, public figures, diplomats, film critics, journalists and representatives of the Armenian community in Germany.

After the film screening, Ambassador Sargsyan delivered a lecture on the Armenian Genocide, presenting the essence and content of the Centennial events. Afterwards, Ambassador Sargsyan, Ashot Smbatyan and Harutyun Khachatryan responded to the questions of the attendees.
