YEREVAN. – The Karabakh Defense Army soldier Gor Darmanyan who was wounded during the Azerbaijani infiltration attempt on March 19 has been transported to a military hospital in Yerevan.

Sargis Aramyan, the mayor of Talin, said Gor is conscious and feels better. He will continue undergoing treatment in Yervan hospital, Aramyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am. His leg has been amputated.

On March 19 at 08:30 Special Forces of the Azerbaijani Army started an attack aimed at the northern direction (Gyulistan) of the NKR Defense Army. Although after 2-hour long military actions the adversary was driven back, several soldiers were wounded and three were dead. Wounded serviceman Samvel Hakobyan died in hospital.
