YEREVAN. – No one offered Armenia lower gas price than the current $189 per 1,000 cubic meters offered by Russia, chairman of ad hoc committee on gas price Vardan Ayvazyan said.
“Let's go beyond politics. No one offered cheaper price than Russia. Iran too. If Iran says gas can be given on other conditions, it is necessary to discuss the offer,” Ayvazyan said.
At present Armenia receives gas from Iran in exchange for electricity.
