YEREVAM. – Africa opens up great opportunities for the Armenian entrepreneurs, Armenian Economy Minister Karen Chshmarityan told reporters.

He believes Armenia can become a platform for African partners to enter the Eurasian market.

“A business forum with participation of Morocco’s business circles was held an hour ago. This was the first business forum with Morocco in the history of independent Armenia, and this opens up new opportunities for Armenia,” the Minister said.

Mr. Chshmarityan said the government is doing its best to help exporters overcome difficult time. Namely, the government is studying foreign markets in search of the most free regimes. Thanks to similar diversification, the share of export to EU and CIS countries has reduced, while export to other countries has increased.
