Although there is still no response by Europe, the offer still stands for creating a free trade zone between the European Union (EU) and the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated the aforesaid at Wednesday’s joint news conference in Moscow with Edward Nalbandian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

“The proposals are on the table,” Lavrov said, but added: “Unfortunately, Brussels does not yet respond very actively to our proposals for starting practical work to carry out these declared objectives.”
