The only Armenian cemetery in Ankara has been targeted by treasure hunters who are destroying graves and scattering bones all around.

Several years ago municipality of Sincan transported gravestones to the park near municipality building to make a museum under open sky. Later the gravestones were transported to the Museum of Anatolian Civilization, Mulkiyehaber website reported.

The cemetery was fenced, but it did not prevent treasure hunters from destroying the graves. Some people are even holding picnics on the territory of the cemetery.
