YEREVAN. – On Wednesday evening, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan will head for Italy on an official visit, and he will meet with the country’s senior officials.

In addition, the President on Friday will visit the Vittoriano Museum Complex in Rome, where he will attend an exhibition dedicated to the Armenian Genocide Centennial.

On Saturday, Sargsyan will be on hand, at the Saint Gregory the Illuminator Church in Naples, at a church ceremony and the unveiling and consecration ceremony of a cross-stone devoted to the Genocide.

Serzh Sargsyan is also scheduled to meet with the head of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

And on Sunday, the Armenian President will pay a visit to the Vatican, where he will attend a mass which Pope Francis will celebrate at the St. Peter’s Basilica, and devoted to the centenary of the Armenian Genocide.
