YEREVAN. – Armenia has already liberalized air service with six countries and eleven countries are on the waiting list, Armenian Economy Minister Karen Chshmarityan said in parliament on Wednesday.

The agreement on the liberalization of air space with Austria, Russia, Iran, Spain, Turkmenistan and Iraq are renegotiated, while talks with Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, Greece, Poland, Ireland, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Norway, the United Kingdom and Thailand are completed.

In all these cases, countries will apply the open skies policy, and in some cases will give each other the opportunity to pick up passengers for flights to the third countries.
