YEREVAN. – The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, on Thursday extended his congratulations to German journalist and historian Wolfgang Gust, on the occasion of his 80th birth anniversary.

“Noble journalists and historians, like you, who spare no effort and energy in impartially seeking, finding and revealing the truth, are precious to us.

“This year, when the Armenians worldwide and all progressive humanity will mark the centenary of the Armenian Genocide, we remember with particular gratitude all those who have contributed to Genocide Studies.

“Thank you for the extensive work you have done and the clear position you have demonstrated,” the President’s congratulatory message specifically reads.
