Inspector of Armenia’s Dilijan National Park was dismissed after uncovering the illegal logging of 162 trees,
On May 5, an inspection was carried out in Haghartsin section of the park, it resulting in uncovering 162 stubs of illegally logged trees, Armenia’s Nature Protection Ministry Press Service reports. According to the order of the National Park Director, the inspector of the park M. Petrosyan was dismissed.
The financial loss inflicted to the park amounts to 3.349.000 AMD.
