Turkey’s PM and Political Science Professor Ahmet Davutoglu made a terrible mistake when criticizing the opposition.
According to Zaman, when criticizing the military takeovers, Ahmet Davutoglu also addressed the Republican National and Nationalist Movement Parties: “Where were the Republican National and Nationalist Movement Parties when Adnan Menderes was taken to gallows on May 27, 1960?”
Nationalist Movement Party deputy chairman Oktay Vural responded to Davutoglu: “The Nationalist Movement Party didn’t exist then, you illiterate.”
