YEREVAN. – The governments should be concerned about how and where the public funds are allocated, EU Commissioner Tibor Navracsics said during the Ministerial Summit of the European Higher Education Area and the Fourth Bologna Policy Forum.

“We have gathered to celebrate fifteen years since our cooperation. Today we are faced with challenges, we must not lose sight of the challenges, because they have to determine our activities,” said EU Commissioner for Culture, Education, Youth and Sport.

He stressed importance of knowledge and opinion that must be priorities. In order to increase competitiveness of young people in the labor market, it is necessary to ensure comparability of what is taught with what is required in the labor market.

“We are still trying to cope with the challenges posed by national borders. The latest technology makes it possible to build a better world. However, despite the efforts of individual structures, too many countries have not yet developed a clear strategy in this regard. I assure you that Europe will not lag behind: we have created and will continue creating a model of universities of the future,” Tibor Navracsics added.
